out of the seeming nowhere, something magical touches your skin and you effortlessly shrug off winter.
this one has light in her eyes…the effect of hours spent gazing at the sea’s horizon… finally she decides to venture out and head for home.
she's a tribute to my recent time in Italy.
It feels impossible to favour one Italian region over another, because they each have such magnificent charm. However...I am a lover of the sea, so coastal towns win my affection straight out of the gates.
I was able to invest my last 3 weeks in Italy staying on its riviera. The area is named Santa Margherita Ligure and absolutely stunning. Almost every day I ran along the winding, seaside road to Portofino.
I remember the first time I saw Portofino. It felt like I had landed in the middle of a fairytale storybook. In some part of me, I believe that I did.
