The Portofino…small & quaint…and overflowing with tales of love.
she's a tribute to my recent time in Italy.
It feels impossible to favour one Italian region over another, because they each have such magnificent charm. However...I am a lover of the sea, so coastal towns win my affection straight out of the gates.
I was able to invest my last 3 weeks in Italy staying on its riviera. The area is named Santa Margherita Ligure and absolutely stunning. Almost every day I ran along the winding, seaside road to Portofino.
I remember the first time I arrived. It felt like I had landed in the middle of a fairytale storybook. In some part of me, I believe that I did.
