Black on black…a timeless beauty…somehow always draws that second glance.
Bullhide is one of my favourite leathers. It is extremely soft and yet has this lovely, sturdy slouch. In black, it delivers a very luxurious finish.
My idea was to create a piece that looked bold & striking, but still flowed with warmth & friendliness. All of the strap detailing was embossed with a whimsical floral pattern before I hand dyed it black. I kept the hardware to a bare minimum and chose soft, black stitch detailing instead.
The message inside…. “free freedom”.
