Knots…I am a novice at tying them compared to expert sailors, rock climbers and such. I am charmed by the aesthetic of them though…so I tied four of them into the straps of this tote. If they help you feel anchored to your own soul, sweet, mission accomplished.

There is a message on the inside bottom of the bag. The inspiration for the words comes from a surfing movie I watched called, “Chasing Mavericks”. I am mesmerized by surfers. I love to see them paddle out, sit and wait, then turn around at this precise moment, paddle just a little bit more, then stand up and let this majestic force move them towards the shore. It is incredible.
