The Peasant Tote is so named because of the distinct 'shoe like' detail at her base.

Both ends turn slightly upwards, creating a soft and elegant look. She is that perfect medium sized bag that tucks easily under your arm, and suits a variety of occasions.

Black on black…a timeless beauty…somehow always draws that second glance.

Bullhide is one of my favourite leathers. It is extremely soft and yet has this lovely, sturdy slouch. In black, it delivers a very luxurious finish.

My idea was to create a piece that looked bold & striking, but still flowed with warmth & friendliness. All of the strap detailing was embossed with a whimsical floral pattern before I hand dyed it black. I kept the hardware to a bare minimum and chose soft, black stitch detailing instead.

The message inside…. “free freedom”.
