The Vancouver rucksack…was inspired by one of Tog’s long time, loyal and wonderful clients.

Together we collaborated and what a fun process this was. She’s a vibrant person who loves colour. She chose the antiqued, fudge brown finish with contrasting tan stitching…a beautiful choice.

If you can imagine, the leather was very light to start with, like the shoulder straps. I hand dyed it until I achieved the richness I wanted…then proceeded to hand cut all the pattern pieces. Hand dying the leather, is an enjoyable part of my artistic and creative process.

The raw edges will darken over time, as will the natural vegetable tanned straps.

• rich n rusty fudge brown, hand dyed on a soft, milled vegetable tanned cowhide.

• 9-10oz natural Italian, double-bend, strap detailing

• tan stitching

• solid antiqued brass hardware: post closures, rivets and buckles

• buckled closure on front flap

• adjustable shoulder straps

• a leather carrying loop, for a quick grab of the rucksack

• a total of twelve pockets where all of your treasures can abide. The outer pockets have a hidden sleeve just behind the flap, so you have quick access to the things you reach for the most.

• outer front pocket dimensions: 7” height x 8” length x 1 1/2” width

• outer side pocket dimensions: 7” height x 6” length x 1 1/2” width

• 3 inside, side and front pocket sleeves mirror the outer ones

• inside back computer, iPad or tablet sleeve: 13 1/2 “ height x 11 1/2” length
