My favourite thing about my work is the people that I get to meet along the way, and create something special for. I am very aware that my path would not ever cross theirs, were I not an artisan, making leather goods.

My studio space is completely off the beaten path, tucked away inside a house, but the right people always seem to find me. This feels like a miracle every time, because it is. Divine orchestration, connection & provision are nothing less than heaven sent.

The story behind the person who inspired the Jessie Messenger is extra ordinary. The details will remain tucked away in the ethers of my soul, but let’s just say I got to be the conduit of an extremely thoughtful, gift giving gesture. I was honoured.

The actual design is patterned off of the Travelling Professor, just slightly smaller in its overall dimensions.

I used different leather, stitching and hardware for the detailing…chosen by my client.

Jessie is still a slightly over-sized messenger bag, therefore good to travel with and perfectly suited for everyday use too. It was a joy to create. Thank you.
