Featured on this journal is the “S” brand, that came with the hide.

These brands are one of a kind markings, usually found on the surface of most oil tanned hides.

Some artisans work around them, but I like to incorporate them into my designs.

I think they are beautiful, unique and will make the piece that much more special.

If you purchase this journal, I cannot promise that you will get an S that looks like it’s wrapped in a circle…but if you are up for a surprise, you can be sure I will pick something cool for you.
