Twas six nights before the start of December… and Tog’s tiny Christmas gnome appeared with good tidings.

He’s a contented little fellow who likes being wrapped in anything warm and knitted. He doesn’t speak much, but instead prefers to adorn himself with kind words for people to read. He takes his work quite seriously.

Today, he’s personally inviting you to a wee Christmas market taking place near the charming town of Fort Langley.

Red Barn Artisan Holiday Market

After venturing down a long meandering driveway, you’ll be warmly welcomed by four artisans who are delighted to meet you and to share their creations with you. Let me introduce you…

Olympia Komianos:

Olympia is extra-ordinary, truly, with an infectious love for life and people. She is an exquisite silver and goldsmith, and the gracious host of the Red Barn Artisan Holiday Market.

Olympia’s creations come to life after hours and hours of loving attention to detail. The whole of her gorgeous soul is poured into her pieces. You’ll know what I mean when you lay your eyes on them. This year I hope to go home with one.

Olympia is also a seasoned yoga instructor and has opened up her Back Forty Studio Space to be the venue for our boutique market.

Fredi Rahn:

Fredi is a master of transforming clay into pottery.

I have a few of Fredi’s, hand-sculpted, pieces and they remain my favourites. I’ll reach for them day after day, as my choice drinking vessel. Sipping my morning coffee is already a luxury of its own…but sipping it out of a one-of-a-kind tiny clay mug with an imprint just for my thumb to rest in, well now, that’s nothing less than a tribute to heaven’s love for us.

Raeanne Schachter:

Raeanne is a vibrant sculpture and painter whom I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting. Browsing through her work has been a joy…I anticipate being awed when I get to view it up close and personal.
