I love black liquorice. The best I ever tasted was from a little boutique candy shop in down town Sydney, Australia. The Aussie’s do many things exceptionally well, and black liquorice is one of them.

When I walked in, I saw trouble….I knew I was about to spoil my dinner.

Oh well...C’est la Vie! It’ll be worth it! I had the fellow fill up my little brown paper bag to the brim….chocolate covered liquorice, salty liquorice, liquorice wrapped in caramel, and good old fashioned soft and plain. Sweet Mary, Jesus and Joseph…I hit the jackpot. I don’t really remember what happened after that…maybe I fell into a sugar coma.

This all black, luxurious Pocket Tote reminds me of that day.

Thank goodness I did not have it with me or I would surely have crammed its pockets full of liquorice.
